The slides from my presentation at PHP-GTA about the Hidden Features of PHP is now available online and can be downloaded here: http://ilia.ws/files/php-toronto_hidden_features.pdf. Hopefully everyone in attendance learned something new about PHP and many thanks to all the people who had asked questions helped make the discussion that much more interesting.
Thank you for that fantastic talk at PHP-GTA. I found the xhprof to be the most useful tool from the presentation. I am not too sure about the 'go to' operator as I really got turned off by how bad of a spaghetti code that can come out of it. Even with scope restriction, I don't know if I would use it even though alot of the op codes use it.
Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips and hints for first-time blog writers? I'd definitely appreciate it.
