Thursday, January 25. 2007PHP 5.2.1RC4 Released!
I've packaged what looks the be the final RC for the 5.2.1 release, RC4. This release fixes another dozen or so bugs since the last release and from the given feedback looks to be regression free. That said I'd like to ask everyone to take a few minutes and try this RC with their code to make sure it really is as good as it seems and to ensure no new issues are introduced.

I hope there will be a new stable APC release soon which addresses all the outstanding bugs. Ilia Alshanetsky on :
Sqlite upgrade will be a part of the next release 5.2.2.
The MySQL lib upgrade that will likely happen in the next release as well, I'll need to poke Edin, our Win32 expert on this. As far as the manuals, I really have no clue in that respect, sorry. Rene L. on :

Are you considering to upgrade the SQLite library to 3.3.12? Will the MySQL client library be upgraded from 5.0.22 to 5.0.33 on Windows? Besides, some of the downloadable documentation CHMs do not work anymore after the last update, at least English and German.
