have you tried the windows explorer integration yet?? thats what really makes me love my gallery app. The Web Publishing wizard built into phpgallery.

Finally got of my ass and installed phpMyGallery, so my amazing photography can be shared with the world

No I have not, I use Firefox as my primary browser so any IE specific features are somewhat uninteresting. The import process that seems to work for me, is uploading pictures vie FTP/SSH and then doing a mass import from a directory.

its actually not IE its Windows Explorer... basically imagine downloading your pics to your computer, then looking at them in windows explorer, click on all the pics you want to upload to your gallery, then hit the PUBLISH THESE ITEMS TO THE WEB and boom, they resize them automatically and place them in the album you want or you can create new album.
