Friday, May 2. 2008PHP 5.2.6 Released
Yesterday, yet another version of PHP 5, 5.2.6 was released. It look a bit longer then I hoped it would, but in the end results are definitely worth it. There are over 120 different bug fixes that are designed to make PHP that much more stable. Quite a few corner case crashes have been addressed, many of which were identified by the ever increasing unit testing (big thanks to all the folks writing tests), which now offers 55.7% code coverage.

Congratulations, already dropped it in on the server, make test had a ton of results and pushed that through to the qa processing script, await to see what comes next release.

Great to see new bugfixing version of PHP, however, old problems with libpq.dll returned, causing, at least Windows env. developers to stick with the previous version. Problems are inside postgres driver, asking for libpq.dll library and when added this (I tried different binary versions) it is complaining about msvcr70.dll and then even other errors... I hope there will be bugfixing release soon...
